Less than 90 minutes from Geneva Airport by car, there are also frequent train services direct from Geneva Airport to Aigle where you change to the delightful mountain railway of the Aigle-Le Sepey-Diablerets line to Les Diablerets. Diablerets is 25 minutes from Gstaad.

In May 2013, to great acclaim, Diablerets hosted the finish of the Queen Stage of the Tour de Romandie

Les Diablerets for winter

In winter the beautiful snow covered terrain enables abundant opportunities for skiing and snowboarding for all levels, from beginners to those looking for a real challenge, on 125km of piste plus off piste; 25km of cross country ski piste, and a dedicated ‘jardin de neige’ Swiss ski school for young beginners. The ski piste area of Alpes Vaudoise consists of the extensive Meillerets/Villars side, the Isenau lift system which hosts the ski school and is paradise for young skiers and, of course, Glacier 3000. Other winter activities include a 7.2km sledge run, snowshoeing, ice skating, curling, paragliding, fun park, heli skiing, winter walks, ski school and many other activities. Other resorts nearby include Gstaad, and Leysin which are easily accessed by car or local bus services.

And summer

In summer time, the glorious landscape, sunshine and pure air are reason enough to be in Diablerets, but it is also a hive of activity and sporting opportunity with hiking, mountain and road biking, tennis (with an annual tournament starting the first Wednesday in August), golf nearby, tree top adventures, open air swimming pool, archery, climbing, paragliding, childrens play area etc. Cycling becomes a way of life with a myriad of cycling options from family mountain biking to more serious stuff for those wishing to challenge themselves, on or off road.
